Since the 2nd of September, 1997, The Bushdocter Thorbeckeplein 28 has been our flagship coffeeshop.

Open for over ten years, we have gained a reputation as a fun place to visit and try some of Amsterdam's finest products on offer.

We have three smoker friendly floors all uniquely designed to get the creative juices flowing. With great views of the canals and the square, you're sure to have fun.

Positioned next to Rembrantplein, Thorbeckeplein is named after the tolerant free thinker who inspired a movement which made this liberal Dutch society possible. Our shop sits at the end of this square, right next to this great man's statue.

In the summer months we lay out a large terrace where you can take in some fresh air and watch the Amsterdam scene flow by.

The Bushdocter Thorbeckeplein is open from 9am to 1am every day of the year.
